Description

Respiratory Therapist needed in Lansing, Michigan to deliver diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care across adult and pediatric populations as applicable. Responsibilities include assessing respiratory status, administering aerosol and oxygen therapies, managing ventilators and noninvasive support (BiPAP, CPAP, high flow) as ordered, performing airway management and suctioning, assisting with rapid responses and codes, and educating patients and families on respiratory medications and equipment. You will collaborate closely with providers, nursing, and the interdisciplinary team while completing timely, accurate documentation to support safe outcomes.

Active Michigan Respiratory Therapist license required with RRT preferred (CRT may be considered depending on facility). BLS required, ACLS preferred, and PALS or NRP may be needed based on the patient population. Recent acute care experience is preferred, especially with ventilators and noninvasive modalities. Strong communication, reliability, and ability to work in a fast paced environment expected.
