Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (MS RN) for a Day shift assignment in Oklahoma. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, strong clinical judgment, and the ability to care for both adult and pediatric patients in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized patient-centered plans of care, incorporating cultural, religious, psychosocial, and physical needs.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing evaluations.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and prescribed therapeutic treatments.
• Initiate emergency interventions (including resuscitative measures) when necessary.
• Provide patient and family education on preventative, curative, and rehabilitative care.
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
• Delegate tasks appropriately and oversee care provided by LPNs and unlicensed personnel.
• Maintain compliance with professional, ethical, and legal nursing standards.
• Support unit operations, maintain supplies, and ensure a safe care environment.
• Demonstrate leadership qualities and effective communication skills.

Requirements

• Active Oklahoma RN License or Compact RN License
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience
• Experience in Medical-Surgical nursing
• Comfortable caring for Pediatric patients
• Certifications Required:
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • PALS
  • NIH Stroke Certification
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to meet physical demands (lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, walking, etc.)
• Must pass Background Check and Drug Screen
• No Holiday RTO
