Adult Echo Technologist – Asheville, NC 28801

Unit: Adult Echo (Diagnostic CV Imaging) Start Date: 03/02/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00–17:30 (4×10 or 8/10‑hour day shifts depending on schedule) Specialty: Echo Tech / Sonographer

Department: Adult Echo Lab – Cardiovascular Diagnostic Imaging
Floor: 1st
Building: Heart Tower
Staffing: Echo technologists
Shifts: Day shift only (8‑ or 10‑hour shifts)
Equipment: Philips Epiq, Philips iE33
EMR: Cerner PowerChart
Reporting System: Intellispace Cardiovascular (ISCV)

Required Experience & Skills

Must‑Have

AHA BLS
CCI or ARDMS credentialed (Echo)
Strong experience performing adult echocardiography

Preferred

None specified

Typical Procedures

Adult 2D/3D echocardiograms
Stress echocardiograms
Transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE)
Structural heart imaging including:
- TAVR
- Mitral Clip
- Watchman
- LVAD

This position may also include coverage for an affiliated outpatient echo department
