Key Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and manage patients with cardiopulmonary disorders using therapeutic interventions and education.
• Perform regular patient assessments and equipment checks, adjusting therapy as needed.
• Collect and analyze specimens to determine oxygen, carbon dioxide, and gas levels.
• Provide diagnoses and treatment suggestions based on patient evaluations.
• Utilize various respiratory care equipment, including ventilators and monitoring devices.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent respiratory therapy experience, preferably in NICU or PICU settings.
• Valid BLS (AHA) certification.
• State licensure or willingness to apply within 72 hours of offer acceptance.
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
• Experience with NICU, PICU, and adult ICU patient populations.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications are highly preferred.
• Experience with high-acuity pediatric and adult patients.
• Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to changing patient conditions.
• Excellent communication skills for effective team collaboration.
