Operating Room Registered Nurse – San Angelo, TX

Specialty: OR RN Start Date: 03/09/2026 or 03/23/2026   Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Hybrid Days, 5×8 (rotating) Experience Required: 5+ years preferred

Shift & Scheduling

• Hybrid rotating schedule:
  • 06:30–15:00
  • 10:30–19:00
• 8‑hour shifts with rotating day off
• Will rotate between day and mid‑shift with one‑day notice
• Includes weekdays, weekends, and holiday call
• Block scheduling not guaranteed
• Travel experience strongly preferred

Position Overview

• OR RN needed for a fast‑paced surgical environment
• Must be comfortable rotating shifts and adapting quickly
• Strong background in multiple surgical specialties required

Required Experience & Skills

Must‑Have

• 5+ years OR RN experience preferred
  • May consider less with strong specialty background
• Proficiency in:
  • General surgery
  • Neuro
  • Ortho
  • Trauma
  • Robotics
• Ability to function independently in a high‑acuity OR
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Required Certifications

• AHA BLS
• AHA ACLS (preferred)
• AHA PALS (preferred)
• Active Texas RN license

Additional Notes

• High‑volume OR with rapid turnover
• Travelers must be flexible and able to integrate with core staff
• Call included as part of rotating schedule
