Description

Med Surg / Ortho RN – Nights | 36hrs | Post-Op Unit

We are seeking an experienced Med Surg / Ortho RN for a 22-bed post-surgical orthopedic unit.

This unit specializes in total joints and spine recovery in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

🏥 Unit Details

22 beds (avg census 6)
1:5–6 ratios
Post-op total joints & spine
No titratable drips
Tele tech monitors strips
Charge RN on every shift

⏰ Schedule

🌙 12hr Nights (6:30p–6:30a)
📅 36 hours per week
✔ Every other weekend
✔ Self scheduling

📜 Requirements

BLS required
Strong Med Surg experience
Ortho/post-op experience preferred
Must live 50+ miles from facility
Cannot be employed by CommonSpirit/CHI/Dignity

⚠️ Important

Open-book exam during orientation (90% required to pass)
No artificial nails
Max 7 days RTO per 13-week contract
