o   Day Shift – 1 charge, 2 RN’s, 1 secretary

o   Night Shift – 1 charge, 2 RN’s

·       Patient Ratios – 4:1

·       Type of equipment – telemetry

·       EMR - Meditech

Skill Set Most recruited for: 

Must have:  candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

·       Chemo/Biotherapy administration experience

·       BMT/Bone Marrow transplant experience 

·       Hematology experience

Preferred or nice to have:  candidates with these skills will be considered first.

·       ONCC Oncology Certified Nurse Certification

·        ACLS

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):  

·       Chemo/Biotherapy administration

·       BMT/Bone Marrow transplant

·       Blood administration

·       Cardiac monitoring

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:

·       ONS Chemotherapy Biotherapy Certification

·       BLS

·       Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License
