Description

Position: Pediatric Occupational Therapist – Feeding/Eating Focus

Submission Requirement:
A brief statement outlining the traveler’s experience in pediatric feeding is required at the time of submission. This is a firm requirement.

Overview:
Seeking an Occupational Therapist with experience in the clinical care of pediatric patients with feeding and eating difficulties. Must have broad experience in the assessment and treatment of pediatric patients with sensory and mild oral motor feeding challenges.

Start Date: ASAP
Shift: 4x10s Days, 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday; Tuesday off)

Optional team meeting 1x per month on Tuesday. If attending, hours will be adjusted accordingly.

Assignment Length: 20 weeks
Experience Required: Minimum 1 year
First-Time Travelers: Accepted
Certifications Required: BLS, NBCOT, CA OT License
On-Call: No (may be called off based on census)
Local Candidates: Not accepted
RTO: Maximum 6 days
Guaranteed Hours: Guaranteed after call-off policy is met

Special Requirements:

Pediatric outpatient experience
Feeding techniques experience
Autism experience
Sensory diet program experience
Active CA OT License
BLS
NBCOT
Children’s hospital experience preferred, but not required
