Job Title: Travel Interventional Radiology Technician
Location: Morristown, NJ 
Department: Radiology – Special Procedures 
Schedule: 4 days/week, 36 hours/week (8:00 AM – 6:00 PM)

On-Call Requirements:

• Every 4th weekend (Friday 5:00 PM – Monday 7:00 AM)
• One weekday overnight call shift per week (5:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist proceduralists during complex vascular and neuro-interventional cases.
• Operate floor- and ceiling-mounted fluoroscopic imaging systems.
• Identify, retrieve, and circulate specialized equipment during procedures.
• Assist in advanced neuro-interventional and vascular cases using strong critical thinking skills.
• Operate power injectors for iodinated contrast media.
• Maintain sterile technique and infection prevention standards.
• Provide groin management post-intervention.
• Document in EMR and ensure proper image transfer to Sectra/PACS.
• Communicate effectively using closed-loop communication within a multidisciplinary team.
• Deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced procedural setting.

Qualifications

Experience:

• 3–5 years of experience as an Interventional Radiologic Technologist or Cardiovascular Technologist.
• Must hold NJ radiographic licensure to operate fluoroscopic x-ray modalities.

Education (Required):

• High School Diploma or GED
• Associate degree OR completion of an accredited radiographic program

Certifications & Licensure (Required):

• NJ Radiologic Technologist License
• ARRT (R) Certification
• BLS (American Heart Association – AHS credentialed, with skills demonstration)

Compensation Package

• Weekly Gross Pay: $3,145
• Weekly Stipend (Tax-Free): $1,561
• W2 Hourly Rate: $44.00/hour
