Position: ICU RN – 13 Weeks Location: Deaconess IL Medical Center Start: ASAP Shift: 12-hour Nights Guaranteed Hours: 36 (48 upon request) Local Rule: No candidates within 40 miles Experience: 2+ years ICU (3 preferred) 1 prior travel assignment required Certifications (Required at Submission): Active IL RN License AHA BLS, AHA ACLS NIHSS Skills Required: Strong neuro assessments, NIHSS, dysphagia screen Tele/EKG interpretation (exam on Day 1) Vent/ETT management (RT available) Titrate drips (sedation, paralytics, cardiac, vasoactive, insulin) Sepsis protocol, post-ROSC hypothermia Critical thinking, adaptable, team-oriented Preferred: tPA, massive transfusion (Belmont) Unit Details: 18 beds (ICU & Stepdown mix) Ratios: ICU 2:1 | Stepdown 3:1 Charge nurse takes patients Float to stepdown if needed Schedule: Every other weekend/holiday No call Navy blue scrubs Other: COVID vaccine not required (subject to change) Orientation week hours not guaranteed
