Shift: 8 hours, days

Position: Ultrasound Tech Shift: Days – 8-hour shifts (7:00 AM–4:00 PM; start time may vary between 7:00–8:30 AM) Role Overview Performs routine and specialized ultrasound exams using independent judgment to obtain accurate diagnostic results under radiologist direction. Key Responsibilities Perform ultrasound exams for patients of all ages Capture required anatomy/pathology views Enhance image quality using appropriate transducers/settings Assist with biopsies and set up sterile trays Prepare and educate patients for procedures Assess abdominal arterial & venous systems with color imaging Troubleshoot and maintain ultrasound equipment Ensure timely image processing and documentation Support QA/QC/QI programs Maintain patient flow and accurate HIS documentation Additional Duties Assist radiologists with biopsies Order labs/pathology under radiologist direction Maintain clean and stocked work areas Support and mentor technologists/students
