Description

RN – PACU (Women’s Recovery) | Travel | Metro CA

We are seeking an experienced PACU Registered Nurse with strong OB and Labor & Delivery background to provide post-anesthesia recovery care in a metro women’s services unit.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process
  • Monitor and manage post-anesthesia recovery for OB/GYN patients
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care
  • Recognize and respond to rapidly changing or high-risk situations
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
  • Provide patient and family education and discharge teaching
  • Document care per department and compliance standards

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years recent RN experience
  • Minimum 2 years recent specialty experience (PACU / Women’s Services)
  • OB and Labor & Delivery experience required
  • NRP required
  • Active, unrestricted California RN license
  • Current BLS/CPR and ACLS certifications
Shift Notes: NOC shifts typically include recovery of vaginal and C-section deliveries Candidates must demonstrate strong post-anesthesia assessment skills, critical thinking, and the ability to manage women’s recovery cases independently.
