Description

RN – PACU (Women’s Recovery) | Travel | Metro CA

We are seeking an experienced PACU Registered Nurse with strong OB and Labor & Delivery background to provide post-anesthesia recovery care in a metro women’s services unit.

Responsibilities:

Deliver direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process
Monitor and manage post-anesthesia recovery for OB/GYN patients
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care
Recognize and respond to rapidly changing or high-risk situations
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
Provide patient and family education and discharge teaching
Document care per department and compliance standards

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years recent RN experience
Minimum 2 years recent specialty experience (PACU / Women’s Services)
OB and Labor & Delivery experience required
NRP required
Active, unrestricted California RN license
Current BLS/CPR and ACLS certifications

Shift Notes: NOC shifts typically include recovery of vaginal and C-section deliveries Candidates must demonstrate strong post-anesthesia assessment skills, critical thinking, and the ability to manage women’s recovery cases independently.
