X-Ray Technologist – Travel Contract Job
Location: Temple, Texas
Schedule: 3x12s, Friday–Sunday, 8:00am–8:00pm
Duration: 13 weeks
Setting: Level I Trauma Emergency Department

A busy Level I Trauma Emergency Department in Temple is seeking an experienced X-Ray Technologist for a travel contract. This role is ideal for a confident, independent tech who can keep pace in a fast-moving, high-acuity environment while maintaining strong patient care and imaging quality standards.

Job Responsibilities
• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures in a high-volume emergency department
• Work independently while prioritizing patient safety and exam accuracy
• Maintain proper positioning, radiation safety, and image quality standards
• Utilize Epic and Visage for documentation and imaging workflow
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff to support efficient patient care

Qualifications
• Minimum 3 years of X-Ray experience required
• ARRT (R) certification required
• Texas Medical Board (TMB) license required, or willingness to obtain
• BLS certification (AHA only) required
• Experience with Epic and Visage required
• Must be comfortable working independently in a busy Level I Trauma environment
