Description
UNIT: Emergency Department. 1100 or 1300 starts. NO first time travelers! Must have 1 year of STRONG Ed exp. in Level I, II or III trauma facility.
Clinical Interviews and Unit manager does a 2nd interview! - MUST have EPIC exp.
Level II Trauma Center
Certs Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, CPI/MOAH, Traveler Competency Exam.
Experience Required: 1 year strong ED experience. General ED experience: Cardiac rhythm interpretation, IV skills, and basic ED knowledge of drips and med administration, procedural sedation, blood administration, cardiac medications.
RN: 1:4
Patient Types: Patient types from peds to geriatrics. Trauma, GSW, sepsis, COVID, STEMI, Stroke, DKA, mental health, respiratory issues, Adult Psych, chest pain. High acuity receiving facility.
