Job Description

Concord Hospital is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for a High Acuity Med Surg / Respiratory Care Unit. This unit manages complex medical and respiratory patients and requires strong clinical judgment and the ability to handle higher acuity med-surg assignments.

The RN will provide safe, evidence-based patient care, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and adapt to fluctuating patient acuity and staffing needs.

Unit Details

• Patient Ratio: 4–5 (occasionally up to 6)
• Acuity: High-acuity Med Surg with respiratory focus
• Floating: May be required to:
  • Concord Hospital – Laconia

  • Concord Hospital – Franklin
    15 Aiken Ave, Franklin, NH 03235

Requirements

• Experience:
  • Minimum 1–2 years Med Surg experience required
  • Critical Care RNs considered if fluent with Med Surg ratios and acuity
  • First-time travelers accepted
• License:
  • Active NH RN License or Compact RN License (must be active at submission)
• Certifications:
  • BLS – Required
  • ACLS – Preferred
  • NHISS – Required prior to start
• EMR: Cerner experience preferred (not required)
• Exam: Dysrhythmia exam required during onboarding (preferred score: 80%+)

• Updated resume with 2+ years specialty experience (and travel history if applicable)
• Completed Skills Checklist (Med Surg)
• Driver’s License (address must match demographics)
• NURSYS License Verification (all active RN licenses)
• RTO must be disclosed at time of submission
