Job Description

Concord Hospital is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for the Progressive Care / Stepdown Unit. This unit cares for moderately to highly acute patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring, frequent assessments, and advanced nursing interventions.

The ideal candidate will be confident managing stepdown-level acuity, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and adapting to unit and facility-based floating needs.

Unit Details

• Care Level: PCU / Stepdown
• Patient Population: Cardiac and high-acuity medical patients
• Floating: Traveler may be required to float to:
  • Concord Hospital – Laconia
    80 Highland Street, Laconia, NH 03246
  • Concord Hospital – Franklin
    15 Aiken Ave, Franklin, NH 03235

Requirements

• Experience:
  • Minimum 2+ years PCU / Stepdown experience required
  • Travel experience preferred (must be documented on resume if applicable)
• License:
  • Active NH RN License or Compact RN License (required at submission)
• Certifications:
  • BLS – Required
  • ACLS – Required
• EMR: Cerner experience preferred (not required)

Submission Requirements

• Up-to-date resume reflecting 2+ years PCU/Stepdown experience
• Two recent RN references (Charge Nurse or Nurse Manager – PCU/Stepdown)
• Completed Skills Checklist (PCU/Stepdown)
• Driver’s License (address must match demographics)
• NURSYS License Verification (all active RN licenses)
• RTO must be disclosed at time of submission

Additional Notes

• Local candidates accepted (less than 50 miles – local pay rate)
• Floating may be required based on facility needs
• Strong cardiac monitoring, time management, and assessment skills required
• No block or set scheduling available
