Description
Job Opportunity: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel/Contract
Location: Baton Rouge, Louisiana
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
Shift: Night shift coverage with anticipated every other week (EOW) rotation
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Job Description
- Primarily Labor & Delivery (80%) with some Maternal & Baby/Postpartum (20%) duties
- Postpartum experience is required
- Minimal Return to Office (RTO) expected
- Must have prior experience in Labor & Delivery
- Prior travel experience is required; no local candidates accepted
- Role includes backfilling AP and VM
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Louisiana
- Minimum of 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience, with experience within the last year
- Postpartum experience
- Experience working with Maternal-Fetal patients
- Completion of at least one travel nursing assignment
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Additional Notes
- Candidates must be able to complete required health and facility-specific documentation prior to start
- Flu vaccination is not mandatory for employment but may be required for Aya standards
- This position is strictly for travel nurses; local candidates will not be considered
