Job Opportunity: Operating Room Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Job Description

• Position: OR Circulator RN
• Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, mid shift (11am-11pm) with one weekend of call every 6 weeks
• Facility Type: Hospital Outpatient Department (HOPD), not an ambulatory surgery center
• Responsibilities:

  • Room turnover, pulling for cases, supply management including stocking rooms
  • May float to Main OR as needed for staffing, relief, and case turnover
• Required Clinical Experience:

  • Proficient in all service lines except heart, vascular, and total joint
  • Strong robotic surgery experience (Da Vinci X) required
  • Experience in general surgery, urology, plastics
  • Minor ortho, ENT, and GYN cases also performed

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Louisiana
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Minimum of one year of urology experience, with urology experience within the last year
• Experience in plastic surgery
• Strong robotic surgery experience with Da Vinci X system
• Experience working in an outpatient setting
• Completion of at least one travel nursing assignment
