Level 1 Trauma Center
Magnet Designation
Comprehensive Stroke Center
General Information
Beds: 4 rooms outpatient; 5 rooms inpatient
Experience: 2 years
First-time traveler: if experience Xray tech; if not experience NO first time travelers
Patient Types: General Xray patients, portable and non-portable, surgery experience preferred
Patient Ratios: 1:1
Required Certifications: BLS, ARRT, IEMA
Skills required: General X-ray Skillset, experience in GI, Surgery, and Level 1 Traumas
Support on the Unit: Multiple Xray techs working at any given time as this is a Level 1 trauma center
Charting System/Equipment: EPIC, Client XR Rooms, Siemens Flouro, Client C-Arm, Fuji Portables
Floating: None
Orientation: 1 unit orientation to learn flow
Scheduling: Weekend rotation: alternating, every other
All RTO requests should be approved by unit manager
Call schedule varies
Scrub Color: Caribbean Blue
Parking: Free
