Position Overview

We are currently seeking qualified professionals for a 4x12 hour shift position in Med Surg / Med Surg Tele. This role requires a commitment of 48 hours per week and involves potential floating to other campuses as needed. Candidates should be prepared to work every third weekend and partake in a holiday rotation if scheduled.

Patient Care Focus

The role primarily involves providing Med Surg care, including overflow management for post-operative surgical patients recovering from hip and knee procedures.

Required Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 24 months in Med Surg / Med Surg Tele
First-Time Travelers: Accepted
EPIC EMR Experience: Required
Licensure: Active Iowa/IA license or compact/multistate license at the time of submission
BLS Certification: AHA/American Heart Association or ARC/American Red Cross
Professional Reference: Reference to be from a direct supervisor/nurse manager/director within the last 24 months is preferred
Documentation: Driver’s license required

Must have 2+ years recent experience in MS/Tele plus experience working with EPIC. This position will only accept candidates willing to work 4x12 hr shifts per week.
