Job description:
Unit: Respiratory Therapist (RT) – Nights

Note: Colorado licensure required.

Unit & Patient Details:

Unit Size & Patient Volume: Varies per floor within an acute care hospital
Patient Ratio: Typically 2:1
Patient Population: Neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric critical care

Scheduling & Requirements:

Shift: Nights (11:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Schedule: 3x12
Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 32 per week
On-Call: Not required

Licensure & Certification Requirements:

License: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Colorado Respiratory Therapist license
Certifications:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – NBRC
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Experience Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an acute care hospital (Joint Commission accredited)
Experience providing care to neonatal and pediatric critical care patients
