Description

The Surgical Technologist assists in surgical operations under the supervision of surgeons, registered nurses, and other surgical personnel. The Surgical Tech is responsible for preparing the operating room, maintaining a sterile environment, and ensuring that surgical instruments and supplies are available and functioning properly.
Experience in Ophthalmology experience required.
Requirements:

Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program
CST certification (preferred/required depending on facility)
BLS certification (AHA)
Minimum 1–2 years of recent OR experience (travel roles typically require 2+ years)
Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and sterile techniques
