Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
 

Compensation Package

• Gross Weekly Pay: $3,439
• Weekly Stipend: $1,939
• W2 Hourly Rate: $37.50

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the clinical resource for ostomy, continence, wound, and skin care management.
• Provide direct wound and ostomy care in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Deliver comprehensive patient and family education pre- and post-operatively.
• Assess and manage pressure injuries (Stage 3 and above) and hospital-acquired pressure injuries (HAPIs), ensuring appropriate reporting and prevention strategies.
• Evaluate and recommend wound care products, equipment, and best practices.
• Conduct staff education programs, in-services, and bedside teaching.
• Stay current on advancements in wound, ostomy, and skin care practices.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to eliminate HAPIs and improve patient outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with infection control, patient safety, and organizational standards.

Required Qualifications

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – Required
• Minimum of four (4) years of clinical nursing experience
• Two (2) years of wound and ostomy experience preferred

Licensure:

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) – State of California

Certifications:

• Wound and Ostomy Certification – Required
