💙 Med-Surg Travel RN – AdventHealth Lake Placid
AdventHealth Lake Placid is seeking a skilled Medical-Surgical RN for a 3x12 day shift travel assignment. This role is perfect for nurses who thrive in a fast-paced environment, delivering comprehensive care to adult patients across multiple units.
Position Details:
Start Date: 3/9/2026
Location: Lake Placid, FL
Schedule: 3x12 Days
Contract Length: 12.86 Weeks (End Date: 6/7/2026)
Patient Types: Medical and post-surgical adult patients
Unit: AdventHealth Sebring / Lake Placid / Wauchula (floating required)
Scrub Color: Navy Blue (Green for Surgical Units)
Hours/Week: 36
Responsibilities:
- Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and manage IV therapies
- Support post-operative care, wound management, and diagnostic testing
- Educate patients and families on recovery plans and care protocols
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals for coordinated care
- Float across Sebring, Lake Placid, and Wauchula units as needed
Requirements:
- Active RN license
- BLS certification
- Minimum of 1 year of Med-Surg experience
- Ability to manage multiple patient needs in a dynamic setting
