Description

Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU

Shift: 12-Hour Nights (Day/Night Rotation Required)
Schedule: Sunday–Saturday rotation
Unit Size: 23-bed Med/Surg/ICU

👩‍⚕️ Clinical Responsibilities & Skills

ICU-level patient care
Telemetry monitoring
Cardiac rhythm analysis
Knowledge of cardiac-related medications
Care of BiPAP patients
Vent management
IV starts
Dressing changes
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:1–1:3 (ICU), based on census and acuity

🖥 Equipment & Systems

Epic (charting system)
Omnicell (medication dispensing)
Alaris IV pumps
Liko & EZ lifts
Nova StatStrip (blood glucose monitoring)

✅ Required Experience

Minimum 1 year ICU experience
Experience with cardiac rhythm interpretation
Experience caring for BiPAP patients

📜 Licensure & Certifications

North Dakota (ND) RN license or Compact license (or willing to obtain)
BLS required
ACLS required
Completion of a basic cardiology class for nurses (required for ICU role)
Flu vaccine required

📅 Scheduling Details

12-hour shifts
Day/night rotation
Weekend work required
No floating required

👕 Dress Code

Black scrubs
