MRI Technologist – Radiology Shift Schedule: Sunday: 7:00am – 7:00pm Monday: 11:30am – 12:00am Tuesday: 11:30am – 12:00am Weekend requirement: Yes (Sunday) On Call: No Floating: No Blocked Scheduling: Not accommodated Position Summary Performs high-quality MRI exams for radiologist interpretation in an efficient and safe manner. Adjusts parameters based on patient size and condition, ensures positive patient identification, and prioritizes patient safety and comfort. Responsibilities include: IV starts, contrast administration, and power injector use QA/QC per ACR guidelines Monitoring vital signs for critical patients Managing patient flow and documentation Advanced knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and MRI protocols Minimum Qualifications Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology program ARRT (MRI) required BLS (AHA) required IV certification preferred Minimum 1 year MRI experience preferred Environment & Physical Requirements Exposure to bloodborne pathogens and magnetic field Must lift/transfer patients and equipment over 50 lbs regularly Reports to: Radiology Manager, Clinical Supervisor, Charge MRI Technologist
