Description

Job Title: Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT)

Location: Fort Dodge, Iowa
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift – 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM (Start time 18:45)
Guaranteed Hours: 36–40 hours per week
Weekend Requirement: Every Third Weekend

Key Responsibilities

Provide respiratory care services in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
Manage ventilator support including Draeger or GE ventilators
Provide advanced respiratory therapies including HFOV
Monitor and assess patient response to treatment
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Float within discipline across campuses as needed
Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC EMR

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of previous respiratory therapy experience (Required)
At least one completed travel contract (Preferred)
Active Iowa State License (Required)
Experience with Draeger or GE ventilators (Required)
Experience with High-Frequency Oscillatory Ventilation (HFOV) (Required)
Ability to float to PICU/NICU (Required)
EMR System: EPIC
