Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Surgical (MS)
Location: Great Bend, Kansas
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Start Date: ASAP (Target 3/15/2026)
Positions Available: 1

Position Overview

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide high-quality patient care within the Medical/Surgical (MS) unit.
The RN will collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while maintaining compliance with hospital policies and professional nursing standards.

Schedule & Shift Details

Shift: Days
Hours: 12-hour shifts
Time: 06:45 AM – 7:15 PM
Weekend Requirement: 2 weekends per month
On-Call Requirement: 1 shift per month
Holiday Requirement: Required in rotation

Minimum Requirements

Minimum 1 year of hospital Medical/Surgical experience
Active Kansas RN License or Compact License
AHA BLS & ACLS certifications (Required)
Must be willing to float within scope to the Emergency Department (ED)

Preferred Experience

Experience managing IV drips (gtts) including:
- Heparin
- Insulin
- Amiodarone
- Cardizem
