Candidate must be available to support all
shifts, with primary hours worked on day shift. Previous management experience
required (3+ years preferred).Manages staff in Diagnostic Imaging with primary focus being
the Radiology Department. This includes management of general X-ray
technologists, MRI technologists, and Mammography technologists with
approximately 40 direct reports. Plays an integral role in departmental
operations, including but not limited to; recruitment, hiring, training,
scheduling, staff time and attendance, promoting, discharging, assigning work,
performance evaluations, rewarding, and disciplining. Also includes assisting
the Vice President of Diagnostic Imaging with budgeting, management of supplies
and capital equipment assessment and procurement. Additional expectations
include supporting daily operations, workflow efficiency, regulatory
compliance, and quality assurance within the Radiology Department and broader
Diagnostic Imaging services. Will work with other Radiology modality
managers as part of the Diagnostic Imaging leadership team. The manager will
help guide the department during the EMR transition from Cerner to EPIC
in early June. Must be currently ARRT registered in at least one imaging
modality.Equipment in use includes primarily GE and Philips
imaging system
