🏥🌙 MRI Technologist – Night Shift Contract

Join a high-performing imaging team for a 13-week night assignment in Charlotte, NC. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced MRI Tech who thrives in a fast-paced hospital environment and values precision, patient safety, and teamwork.

Position Details:
Start Date: 5/18/2026
Location: Charlotte, NC
Schedule: 3x12 Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Contract Length: 13 Weeks (End Date: 8/15/2026)
Call: None
Floating: None

Department Overview:

244-bed acute care hospital
TJC Stroke Accredited
Average 23 MRI studies per day
Serves ED, inpatient, observation, and outpatient populations
Radiology nursing support available
Tech assistant support on night shift

Technology:

GE 1.5T SIGNA Artist 450W
EMR: Epic
RIS: Epic Radiant
PACS: Philips iSite

Responsibilities:

Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures
Screen for contraindications and review medical history
Administer IV contrast per protocol
Ensure MRI safety compliance in magnetic environment
Evaluate image quality and collaborate with Radiologist
Document accurately in EMR
Assist anesthesia during MRI procedures as needed

Requirements:

ARRT(R) or NMTCB
ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT
BLS Certification
Minimum 1 year MRI experience
First-time travelers accepted
Must reside 50+ miles from facility

Compliance Notes:

Travelers required to work 75% of holidays
Black scrubs required
