The Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to Wound/Ostomy Care patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures. The registered nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgement and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care; maintains clinical competencies through continuing education; delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available; provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.


 

Facility Requirements:

  • Must have at minimum 2 years recent experience as a Wound Care RN in a hospital setting
  • Must have  BLS & WOCN certifications, these must be attached to the submission (Must be through the American Heart Association)
  • Must have CA RN license, must be attached to resume
  • Shifts will be Monday-Friday; 8a-5p, required to cover weekend based on the needs
