Description

Job Opportunity: Cardiac Tele Registered Nurse

Location: Greensboro, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Work schedule: 3x12 hour shifts, Monday to Friday, no weekends or holidays
  • Department hours: 5:30 AM to 9:00 PM
  • Unit: Pre/post care for Cath lab, EP lab, PV lab, and interventional radiology
  • Patient population: Includes patients from IR, EP, Cath, PV labs, and Same Day PCI patients
  • Telemetry experience required (some patients require telemetry monitoring)
  • Must understand care and monitoring of arterial and venous access patients (radial and ulnar access), including hemostasis management
  • Charge RN experience required

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
  • Minimum 2 years of Med Surg / Telemetry experience, with at least 1 year within the last year
  • Experience in Cardiac Cath Lab, Electrophysiology Lab, and Interventional Radiology
  • ACLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Experience in Charge nurse roles
  • Experience managing and monitoring hemostasis in arterial and venous access patients (radial and ulnar access)
