Position Details
- Job Title: Registered Nurse – CVOR
- Discipline: RN
- Specialty: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
- Facility: Stormont Vail Health
- Organization: TRS Managed Services, LLC
- Contract Duration: 13 Weeks (Will consider 13–26 weeks; 26 weeks preferred)
- Start Date: 03/16/2026
- Shift: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
- Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday
- Work Location: Topeka, KS
Call Requirement (Strict)
- 1–2 overnight calls during week (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Every other weekend call: Friday 7:00 PM – Monday 7:00 AM
- Must be available for all scheduled call shifts
Job Responsibilities
- Circulate and/or scrub for General OR & Cardiothoracic Surgery cases
- Strong experience with Coronary Artery Bypass (CABG) procedures – Required
- Provide comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative care
- Assist with urgent and trauma procedures as needed
- Work in high-acuity CVOR environment
Requirements (Strict)
- Minimum 2+ Years CVOR Experience – Required
- Bypass Surgery Experience (CABG) – Required
- No First-Time Travelers
- Must live more than 100 miles from facility
- BLS & ACLS – Required
- Epic EMR Experience – Required
- Must be a high-performing, independent CVOR RN
