Description

Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

Experience in the ICU setting (medical/surgical/neuro/trauma – any of these will qualify)
BLS/ACLS

Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.

List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Patient population

· Neuro surgical, Trauma (level III, going to level II this year), cardiac arrest, resp arrest, ETOH/Drug WD, all vented patients come to the ICU at our facility.

Number of Beds - 28 Number of Staff – 42 Type of staff: Day Shift – 1 charge, number of nurses depends on census/acuity, critical care tech staffed 6 days a week, 0900-2100 Night Shift - 1 charge, number of nurses depends on census/acuity, critical care tech staffed 6 days a week, 0900-2100 Patient Ratios – Typically 1:2, can be 1:1 or 1:3 depending on acuity - Estimated ratios, not guaranteed Type of equipment –Pyxis, Plum Pump IVs, GE bedside monitors, Nelcor, Artic Sun, Sub Zero EMR - Meditech POS ID - 983889
