Description: 1. General job duties. Types of procedures required.
Complete skilled nursing visits in homes and facilities, including admissions, recertifications, and discharges. In collaboration with the provider, develop a patient-specific plan of care.
Procedures: Foley and suprapubic changes, ostomy care, wound care, including wound vacs, blood draws, and central line care.
2. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.)
Computerized charting with iPad, laptop, and iPhone.
3. Required skills and minimum years of experience.
One year of experience in hospice is preferred. Experience making home visits is required.
4. Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required.
BLS and NE or Compact RN license
5. Shift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone? Is call required? If so, how often? Are weekends required?)
Looking for coverage M-F and be on call at least six days a month.
6. Floating to other units/departments. (If so, to which units/departments?)
