Travel Electrophysiology (EP) Technologist – Paramus, NJ

Start Date: 3/9

Assignment Length: 13 weeks

Gross Pay: $3,614/week

Shift: 5×8 Days (Monday–Friday)

Distance Requirement: Permanent address must be 75+ miles from facility for full rate

Experience Required: Minimum 1 year

Certifications: ACLS, ARRT (R) or CCI RCIS (either accepted)

Position Overview

A leading cardiovascular center in Paramus, NJ is seeking an experienced Travel EP Technologist for a 13‑week assignment. This is a weekday, 5×8 day‑shift role supporting a high‑acuity electrophysiology program. The ideal candidate is confident in EP procedures, adaptable in a fast‑paced lab, and comfortable collaborating with cardiologists, RNs, and anesthesia teams.

Monday–Friday day shift
Full rate available only to travelers living 75+ miles from the facility
High‑volume EP lab with advanced procedures

Requirements

Active ARRT (R) or CCI RCIS
Current ACLS
1+ year of EP experience
Ability to work effectively in a procedural cardiac environment

Responsibilities

Assist with EP studies, ablations, and device procedures
Operate mapping systems and procedural imaging equipment
Maintain sterile technique and prepare instruments
Monitor patient status and support providers throughout procedures
Document accurately and follow all EP lab protocols
Contribute to efficient workflow in a high‑acuity cardiac setting
