Job Opportunity: Ultrasound Tech - Vascular

Location: High Point, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Schedule: 4x9.5 hour shifts, evenings from 4:00 PM to 1:30 AM, Monday through Thursday
• Work independently covering Outpatient and Emergency Department (ED)
• Access to radiologist by phone if urgently needed
• Patient age groups: Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
• Use of PACS and portable ultrasound equipment
• Ultrasound experience required in: General, Abdomen, OB/GYN, Renal/Pelvis, Small Parts, Vascular (Carotid)
• Vascular experience required in Doppler studies of upper and lower extremity arterial systems
• Experience with SIEMENS & ACUSON ultrasound machines required
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system
• Team environment: may assist with patient transport/movement in other modalities when not busy in ultrasound

Required Qualifications

• Valid Vascular Technologist license in North Carolina
• Minimum 2 years of Vascular Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• Ultrasound Technologist experience
• Completion of at least one travel assignment
• ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
• Experience working with Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric patients
• Experience in Outpatient settings
• Proficient in Abdomen, Renal/Pelvis, Small Parts, and Vascular (Carotid) ultrasound
• Experience performing Doppler studies of upper and lower extremity arterial systems
