Description

Registered Nurse (RN) – PACU

Shift Options:

7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Days)
7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Nights)
Variable day starts: 0700, 0800, 0900, 1000, 1100

🚨 Clinical Requirements

Strong critical care skills required. Must be comfortable with:

Arterial lines
Central lines
Vasoactive drips
Sedative drips
Chest tubes
Tracheostomies
Ventricular drains (Yes)
ICP monitoring (No – patients requiring ICP go directly to ICU)

👩‍⚕️ Patient Population

Frequent overnight PACU boarders:
- ICU-level craniotomies
- Step-down patients
- Med-Surg patients

✅ Preferred Experience

Previous ICU experience highly preferred
High-acuity PACU experience preferred
Must be confident managing complex post-op patients independently
