Description

Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – CVOR
Location: Lansing, MI
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days – 4x10-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)

Compensation Package

Gross Weekly Pay: $3,106
Weekly Stipend: $1,246
W2 Hourly Rate: $46.50/hr

Key Responsibilities

Provide 1:1 patient care in CVOR
Circulate and/or scrub cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular surgeries
Assist with advanced procedures including:
- CABG
- Valve replacements (mitral/aortic)
- TAVR
- MAZE procedures
- Aneurysm repairs (AAA, TEVAR)
- LVAD placement
Support Hybrid OR and Trauma cases
Participate in rotating on-call schedule (currently 1 week every 6 weeks)
Float to General OR if no CVOR cases are scheduled
Follow Universal Protocol, infection control standards, and blood product administration guidelines

Required Qualifications

Active Michigan RN License (must be active by start; compact not accepted)
BLS (AHA preferred)
Minimum 3 years CVOR experience
Experience in CVOR, General OR, Hybrid OR, and Trauma settings

Call & Scheduling

On-call required (rotating schedule)
