Job Description: Radiologic Technologist (Bone Density)
Location: Boston, MA
Start Date: May 4th or later
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Schedule:
- 40 hours/week
- 4x10s, 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Rotating weekends
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist with a strong background in Bone Density, Fluoroscopy, and C-Arm procedures. The ideal candidate will be comfortable supporting a pain treatment center environment and performing imaging for a wide range of spine and joint procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Perform high‑quality bone density imaging and ensure accurate patient assessments.
- Operate C-arms for various pain management procedures.
- Provide fluoroscopic imaging of the spine and other joints.
- Assist providers with setup and breakdown of kits, medications, and supplies used for fluoro‑guided injections.
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and department protocols.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records.
Required Experience & Qualifications:
- Bone density experience clearly outlined on resume.
- Strong working knowledge of C-arms and common pain management injections.
- Fluoroscopy experience involving the spine and major joints.
- Ability and willingness to set up/tear down procedure kits and medication trays.
- Current Massachusetts Radiation Control License.
- ARRT (R) certification.
