Very large, busy state of the art off-site reprocessing center providing sterile processing services for multiple facilities including tertiary sites and ambulatory surgery centers. Facility also provides emergency services for the area

• Supervises and coordinates the staff and daily operations of Central Sterile services.
• Ensures staff compliance with sterilization techniques, policies, and procedures.
• Ensures sterilization activities are properly documented and participates in the maintenance of department records.
• Serves as a liaison between Central Sterile department and perioperative areas, coordinating activities and resolving problems as they arise.
• Ensures proper care and handling of all instrumentation received through decontamination area.
• Accepting and tagging of fast tracks.
• Assigning employees to their job tasks every day and moving them around when needed.

Equipment: STERIS Washers, Autoclave     IT System: SynergyTrak

Required:

·   Current Registered Central Supply Technician Certification (CRCST or CSPD) – must not expire during term of assignment

·      5+ years of relevant experience

·      Leadership / management experience, required **Note on Resume and Cover Sheet**

·      Associate’s Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience

Ability to lift/carry 25 pounds, required. Manual dexterity, ability to stand, bend, lift and/or reach for extended periods of time, required.

Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbally and in writing) and follow oral and/or written instructions, required

Scrubs provided- must be laundered at the facility. 

Shoes, jewelry, hair & beard must be covered

No nail polish.
