Job Opportunity: Temporary Registered Nurse (RN) - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
Location: Madison, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Temporary
Job Description
- Provide professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
- Work schedule: 36-40 hours per week, with overtime billable after 40 hours.
- Orientation dates available starting from February 23, 2026, with multiple sessions through November 2026.
- Electronic Medical Record system used: EPIC.
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license for Wisconsin.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification [required].
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification [required].
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in the specialty.
- Experience with epinephrine, norepinephrine, and dopamine administration [required].
- Must have completed at least 1 prior travel contract.
- Valid Driver’s License [required].
- Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission [required].
- License verification and copy of required certifications [required].
- Work history/resume and 1 supervisory reference at time of submission [required].
- Must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility (local candidates accepted with a rate adjustment).
Additional Information
- Night shift differential: 16 hours.
- Overtime and holiday pay multipliers apply.
- Call back and on-call pay available.
- Charge nurse/preceptor pay available.
Prior Travel Experience
- Prior travel experience is required (must have completed at least 1 prior travel contract).
