Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours per Week: 40 hours guaranteed
Shift Requirements: 5x8 hour various shifts
Float Requirements: may be required to float .
On Call/Call-Back: On Call/Call-Back: 1 night of call per week, 1 weekend per month, 1 back up per week. Could on occasion need additional call. Can be low censused and put on call. Call back minimum is 2 hours
Weekend/Holiday: Every 3rd weekend and holiday rotation
Required Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, WI RN License, required.
Minimum Experience: 2+ year OR experience. Cardiac experience required. Prior travel experience Required.
Charting/Equipment: Epic preferred
Unit Specific Skillset: 21 ORs including all specialties. 3 CV rooms, 1-2 PV rooms 1-5 cases per day, 45/month
Required skills: Cardiothoracic experience REQUIRED.. Critical thinking skills, motivated, strong knowledge of cardiac surgery. Off and on pump bypass graft cases, AVR, MVR, TVR, Full maze, minimally invasive maze, thoracoscopic/thoracotomy, pacemakers, TAVR, pericardial windows Ascending Aortic Dissections with subclavian cannulation. Pull case carts, downtime stocking, cleaning, ect. Potential to circulate general cases if downtime. Looking for a flexible candidate with excellent work ethic that is also willing to do downtime tasks, if needed.
