Location: Alamogordo, New Mexico
Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Days – 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM 3*12
Work Type: Full Time
Setting: IMC / MedSurg

Weekly Pay: $2,290

Position Overview
Seeking a Travel RN for a Telemetry/IMC MedSurg unit caring for medical, surgical, and respiratory patients. The nurse in this role practices independently, provides both routine and complex patient care, and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to manage clinical situations effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Provide patient care utilizing the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
Administer medications and treatments per protocol and monitor patient response
Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
Educate patients and families regarding care plans and discharge needs
Delegate appropriately and support team-based care delivery

Requirements

Active RN license in New Mexico or compact state
Current BLS certification (AHA required)
Current ACLS certification (AHA required)
Minimum 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred
BSN preferred
PALS and CPI certifications preferred
