Description

Job Summary:

Under the supervision of the Respiratory Therapy Supervisor, provides life-support, resuscitation, respiratory treatments, and diagnostic procedures for ICU and general care patients. Responsible for delivering quality patient care and accurate documentation.

Responsibilities:

Administer oxygen therapy, medical gases, and ventilator support
Perform invasive and non-invasive respiratory procedures
Respond to emergency and resuscitation situations
Monitor and document patient response to treatment
Communicate effectively with physicians and care team
Supervise and support RT students or staff as assigned
Complete accurate documentation and billing information

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of recent Respiratory Therapist experience
Associate Degree from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
Registered with the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
Active Michigan Respiratory Therapist license
BLS required

Preferred:

Bachelor’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy
