Radiology / Cardiology – Mammography Tech

Location: Eureka, California
Duration: 13 Weeks
Start Date: March 23, 2026
Shift: Day Shift, 5x8 Hours (08:00 – 17:30)
Weekly Pay: $3,317

Position Overview
Seeking a Mammography Technologist to provide diagnostic and screening imaging services at a hospital-based radiology unit. This is a travel assignment with exposure to a variety of procedures including 3-D mammography, needle localizations, fine needle aspirations, and stereotactic biopsies.

Key Responsibilities

Perform 3-D Mammography, Diagnostic and Screening Mammograms
Assist with Fine Needle Aspiration and Needle Localizations
Support Stereotactic Biopsy procedures
Ensure patient safety using proper isolation precautions and PPE
Maintain accurate charting in Epic EMR system

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
Valid CA license and BLS certification
ARRT and ARRT Advanced certifications required
Strong knowledge of imaging equipment: Hologic 3D, Hologic Affirm BX
Able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
