Radiology / Cardiology – Mammography Tech
Location: Eureka, California
Duration: 13 Weeks
Start Date: March 23, 2026
Shift: Day Shift, 5x8 Hours (08:00 – 17:30)
Weekly Pay: $3,317
Position Overview
Seeking a Mammography Technologist to provide diagnostic and screening imaging services at a hospital-based radiology unit. This is a travel assignment with exposure to a variety of procedures including 3-D mammography, needle localizations, fine needle aspirations, and stereotactic biopsies.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform 3-D Mammography, Diagnostic and Screening Mammograms
- Assist with Fine Needle Aspiration and Needle Localizations
- Support Stereotactic Biopsy procedures
- Ensure patient safety using proper isolation precautions and PPE
- Maintain accurate charting in Epic EMR system
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
- Valid CA license and BLS certification
- ARRT and ARRT Advanced certifications required
- Strong knowledge of imaging equipment: Hologic 3D, Hologic Affirm BX
- Able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
