Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
Cardiovascular Unit- Telemetry Start date: ASAP*Please ensure your traveler is aware and comfortable with the ratios. The ratios typically range between 1:5-6, however, with call-ins the ratios can move up to 1:7. We are actively onboarding new travelers on the unit each week to reduce the workload when there is a call-in. The unit is starting the hiring process for PCTs*Shift: 3x12 NIGHTS (1900-0730)Call Requirements: NoneWeekend Requirements: every otherHoliday Requirements: Must work 2/3 holidays Block Scheduling: CANNOT be guaranteed but the managers will do their best to accommodate itGuaranteed Hours: 36Years of experience REQ: 1 YEARFirst-timers accepted: Yes Certs REQ: ACLS, BLS, NIHSSLocals accepted: No, Travelers must live at least 50 miles away from the facility Additional Information: 3N is a 54 bed cardiac unit. This is our main Cardiac Telemetry unit. The majority of these patients are on a cardiac monitor. They are monitored in a remote telemetry room, but also closely monitored on the unit. They do take cardiac drips. Their patient population is heart failure, heart attack (STEMI and NSTEMI), stroke (needing cardiac monitoring), cardiac arrhythmia's, chest pain, etc. They may also take overflow medical patients if needed.Scrub Color: Caribbean BlueCharting: Cerner Powerchart

The certifications needed are ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS. Special Equipment : ****High ratio cardiac unit with a 1:6-8 #Tier2 Travel Compliance RTO- Max amount of RTO is 10 days. If RTO is during the holidays, travelers must be willing to work 1 of the 3 holidays # of jobs in system we can sub 1 only Requires specific amount of exp. 1 -2 preferred experience, will accept first time travelers. Valid state license must be pending or candidate must be willing to participate in the Aya licensure project Mile Radius Rule Applies 50 Miles Local Rules Will not take locals Candidates will float within hospital or to an affiliate hospitals near by Depending on volume/census Copy of Certifications - Traveler agrees to obtain all required certs prior to start. Will take pending certs Charting Cerner experience required Background Policy to be noted prior to submission Nursys only Return Staff Policy must be gone 3 years before returning as a traveler The travelers need to complete up to 8hours of modules within 1 week of signing for Beacon Preferred Modules: Module hours are billable up to 8 hours, average 3-8 hours spent on modules Modules are completed pre-start Modules are self-reported Important Note on Beacon Assignments: Beacon is considered a sensitive account due to an increase in professional conduct concerns. Before accepting an assignment, all travelers must understand that any conduct issues including but not limited to unprofessional behavior or shift call-offs are taken very seriously.
