General Information

Beds:4 Endoscopy rooms20 Pre-Op bays14 PACU bays

 

Required Experience:RN:2 years Level 1 or 2 trauma experience

 

Will you accept a first-time traveler?No

 

Travelers must live >100 miles away from facility

 

Permanent staff must wait 1 full year to return as a travelerPatient Types:Upper Lower Endoscopy (to include advanced EUS (Endoscopic US), EBUS (Endobronchial US), ERCPEGD and ColonPre and Post Recovery (Phase I and Phase II) with some ICU level care needed.Patient Ratios:ENDO 1:1Pre-Op 1:2PACU Phase I - 1:1 or 1:2, based on acuityPACU Phase II - 1:2-3Required Certifications:RN:BLS, ACLSRequired Education:RN:Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing; Registered Nurse (RN) - South Dakota Board of NursingSkills required:RN:Endoscopy (to include advanced EUS (Endoscopic US), EBUS (Endobronchial US), ERCPAnesthesia provides sedation.Support on the Unit:EndoscopyRN/Endo Tech x6Anesthesia (provided sedation-100% )Charting System/Equipment:EPIC (required)ION robot robotic assisted BronchoscopyOmnicellAlarisFloating: If yes, where?As needed (PreOp/PACU/Floor) if floated out of peri-op services, will be as helping handsWill not be floated to Main OR
