Strict 3-strike policy 3 absences or arrivals 20+ minutes late = immediate termination Exceptions (e.g., hospitalization or communicable disease) reviewed with documentation Unit Overview: 28-bed Medical-Surgical Unit Patient population: General & vascular surgery, bariatric, plastic surgery, trauma Designated Stroke Unit Fast-paced, high-acuity environment with strong team support Active Shared Governance (Unit-Based Council) Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans Collaborate with interdisciplinary team Utilize Clinical Practice Model (CPM) & Caring-Quality Model Promote patient-centered, evidence-based, and holistic care Demonstrate leadership, communication (SBAR), and time management skills Support teamwork and professional growth Environment: Collaborative, supportive, and focused on patient safety and positive outcomes.
