Description

Cath Lab Technologist

Location Requirement:
Must reside at least 100 miles away from the facility.

Schedule:

Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Days per Week: 5 days/week plus call
Call Requirement: Minimum of 6+ shifts per pay period

Position Summary

The Cath Lab Technologist works in a multidisciplinary cardiac catheterization laboratory, supporting patients undergoing invasive diagnostic cardiac and vascular testing as well as interventional procedures.

This role performs both scrub and monitoring duties, utilizing all aspects of catheterization equipment and following prescribed procedures for the operation of radiology imaging equipment.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2+ years of Cath Lab and/or Electrophysiology experience
RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications
Degree in related field (BA, BS, BSN, AA) or equivalent years of experience
Ability to adapt to multiple and changing priorities
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Effective interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality
